BioMy name is Sarah. I'm a medical student studying in London. I work bank shifts as a nurse inbetween lectures. And I make merry in whatever time is leftover. This journal doesn't say an awful lot, it's not clever or witty and it's entirely self centred, with the occassional piece on What I Think About Things.

One day I'm going to marry Patrick Stuart... maybe.
I'm pagan, of no specific path or group, and I'm bisexual.
I also cling wholeheartedly to solipsism.
I collect hats. Top hats and army hats and bowlers and the like.
I'm planning to go back to Africa soon, to the Centre for Animal Rehabilitation and Education (CARE) which is a sanctuary primarily rehabilitating chacma baboons. I spent some time there last summer, acting as surrogate mother to some of the many orphaned baboons in South Africa - it was hard work, and I had to share my bed with cockroaches, rats and monkeys; but it was worth it all to become fluent in monkey-speech and be able to spend time with amazing people and animals. Incidentally, they are always in need of blankets, bottle teats, medical funds and other supplies (including chocolate for the volunteers...), so do contact me if you are interested in helping support them, even just by donating an unwanted blanket.
I am not very rock and roll; I'm the girl who takes a book to the cinema so I don't get bored during the adverts. However, I do like rock and roll. And I have crowd surfed and split my cheek in a mosh pit, so I think it all balances out.

My hamster is called Ratbeast. I like to say 'Good thinking, Batman!' and 'sorry borry.' I'm scared of the dark.
Pigeons can't poo whilst they are flying. I found this out recently. Seaguls can, but not pigeons. So no more ducking around trafalgar square, see?
I think roundabouts are the epitome of the British sense of humour. I also tell jokes to myself in my head and accidentally laugh out loud at them.
