I'm told I have a Peter Pan Complex. Some say I'm naive. One day I'm going to marry Patrick Stuart. I also cling wholeheartedly to solipsism. Sucks to be me.
I'm pagan, of no specific path or group, and I'm bisexual.
I collect hats. Top hats and army hats and bowlers and the like.

My hamster is called Ratbeast. The rest of the animals are dead. I like to say 'Good thinking, Batman!' and 'sorry borry.' I'm scared of the dark.
I am curently training as a nurse, with ambitions to apply to medical school as a graduate. Because I don't enjoy bedpans very much and the uniforms are ugly. I dislike the way clinical professions are starting to focus too much on holism and theraputic relationships, because it ignores the essential and basic sciences that medicine was founded upon. I don't believe that when a man breaks his leg, our first thought should be 'counselling' followed shortly by 'compensation.' At the same time, however, my philosophy is generally completely at odds with my loyalty to science.
I am not very rock and roll; I'm the girl who takes a book to the cinema so I don't get bored during the adverts. However, I do like rock and roll. And I have crowd surfed and split my cheek in a mosh pit, so I think it all balances out.
I'm planning to go back to Africa soon, to the Centre for Animal Rehabilitation and Education (CARE) which is a sanctuary primarily rehabilitating chacma baboons. I spent some time there last summer, acting as surrogate mother to some of the many orphaned baboons in South Africa - it was hard work, and I had to share my bed with cockroaches, rats and monkeys; but it was worth it all to become fluent in monkey-speech and be able to spend time with amazing people and animals. Incidentally, they are always in need of blankets, bottle teats, medical funds and other supplies (including chocolate for the volunteers...), so do contact me if you are interested in helping support them, even just by donating an unwanted blanket.
I think roundabouts are the epitome of the British sense of humour. I also tell jokes to myself in my head and accidentally laugh out loud at them.
